Our most accessible route. A scenic introduction to the Natchez Trace and an opportunity for families, developing cyclists and supporters to take part in the day.

A beautiful out-and-back-style ride from Colbert Ferry with a continuous-flow turnaround designed to keep riders moving safely.

The signature endurance ride of the Shoals Honor Classic. Follow the Natchez Trace north into Tennessee before completing the Wayne County loop and beginning your journey home.

The inaugural Shoals Honor Classic begins and ends at historic Colbert Ferry, with riders heading north on the Natchez Trace Parkway through the rolling countryside of northwest Alabama and southern Tennessee.

Limited commercial traffic, beautiful scenery and the history of the Trace make this an extraordinary setting for a ride built around service and sacrifice.

More Than a Bike Ride

While riders are on the course, Colbert Ferry becomes the gathering place. Families, friends and the community will be invited to spend the morning with us for music, food, family activities and a celebration honoring military members, veterans and first responders.

When does registration open?

Registration is not open yet. Request ride updates and we’ll let you know when registration and final event details are available.

Are the routes final?

Not yet. The permit and sanctioning process is underway, and all routes and activities remain subject to required approvals.

Where does the event begin?

All three rides are planned to begin and end at Colbert Ferry on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Northwest Alabama. Final parking and rider-guide details will be published before registration.
